Instructions for TaxLink 4 Download - please note you will not need a floppy disk for this update
- Click the TaxLink 4 Update icon.
- When prompted for a User Name and Password, enter those you are already familiar with using.
- Save the download file to the desired hard drive or network location.
- Browse to the location to which you saved the download file, then double-click the corresponding listing.
- In the WinZip(R) Self-Extractor dialog box, confirm that the specified location to which the update files will be extracted is as desired, browsing to the desired location if this is not the case.
Note: The default is c:\weekly.
- Click Unzip.
- In the message box displayed at the end of the extract process, click OK.
- Exit the WinZip(R) Self-Extractor dialog box by clicking Close.
- Browse to the location to which you extracted the update files, then double-click on the update.exe file.
Note: This should automatically detect your current install and update it.
