Alexander Harris provide helpline in response to meningitis alert

Following recent safety concerns over adverse side effects of the new meningitis vaccine, Alexander Harris have set up a medical helpline.  The latest reports confirm 5,000 children have suffered adverse reactions to the drug. Some reactions were so severe victims had to be airlifted to hospital. Side effects include fits, headaches and blackouts. Around thirteen million youngsters have received the meningitis C inoculation. (13/6/2000)
